About PWC Connecticut

Who We Are

Professional Women in Construction

Since 1980, our neighbors in New York have had the benefit of the vibrant and active association known as Professional Women in Construction (PWC).

In 2005, the Professional Women in Construction Connecticut Chapter was chartered as PWC’s first chapter. Since the inception of our Connecticut organization, the number of PWC Chapters has continued to grow.

We embarked on this venture with Professional Women in Construction due to our strong belief that creating and strengthening ties with industry peers from other regions creates unique value – both for our firms, and for us as individual A/E/C industry professionals.

Members of the Connecticut Chapter of PWC represent all major disciplines within our industry, and are drawn from Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

In keeping with our parent organization, PWC programs in Connecticut present the very latest in current industry topics, and provide exceptional networking and business development opportunities for our members and guests.

Men are welcome and key to what we do because we know, together we are better.

Our Members

Our members represent a broad spectrum of the construction industry. Membership is open to professional women and men, private companies and public agencies in construction and allied industries.
