Award Categories & Evaluation Criteria
Susan H. Labas Woman of Achievement Award
Named in honor of PWC founding member Susan Labas to recognize exceptional long-term career accomplishments and dedication to advancing women in construction.
- 15+ Years of Experience: Open to women with at least 15 years of AEC leadership.
- Industry Impact: Documented track record of professional excellence and contributions.
- Role Model: Proven dedication to mentoring and empowering women in the industry.
Rising Star Award
Honors an emerging female professional demonstrating rapid career advancement, exceptional work ethic, and a strong commitment to client success.
- 15 Years or Less: Open to women in the AEC industry for 15 years or under.
- Work Ethic & Growth: Recognized by peers and clients for drive and timely execution.
- Professional Ethics: Takes full accountability and demonstrates strong integrity.
Excellence in Mentoring Award
Acknowledges an outstanding professional (woman or man) who acts as a role model and actively guides the career growth of women across any AEC discipline.
- Open to All Genders: Recognizes any male or female mentor in the AEC industry.
- Sustained Guidance: Demonstrates a long-term commitment to mentee growth.
- Knowledge & Resources: Serves as an active teacher, sponsor, and advocate.
Volunteer of the Year Award
Honors a current PWC Connecticut member who has demonstrated extraordinary service, commitment, and impact through active involvement in the chapter.
- Active Chapter Member: Open to current PWC-CT Chapter members.
- Committee Service: Active participation and contributions to a PWC-CT committee.
- Sustained Impact: Significant involvement in a major project or initiative for 2+ years.
